Driver Conveniences

 “$urePay”- This unique pay verification system developed at Transport America allows our drivers to verify and approve their pay on every load.  Our drivers enjoy knowing at the completion of each load that all pay items have been reviewed and approved by them.
 
“DO NOT DISTURB” macro – Another innovation at Transport America that allows our drivers to tell us when they are taking their break and do not want to be interrupted by Qualcomm messages.  During this time, a DO NOT DISBURB sign appears on the dispatch screen and lets operations know not to disturb you.

PrePass Plus/EZ Pass – Company vehicles are equipped with PrepassPlus, which allows our drivers to bypass weight stations and toll booths in the many states that offer this program.

 Express Cash/Direct Deposit – Our drivers have the option of having their pay (weekly) put on their Comdata card or deposited directly into their bank account.

In Cab Email – Through Qualcomm, our drivers have the option to send and receive email messages while in their tractor.

Passenger Program - Experienced Drivers qualify for our passenger program upon completion of Driver Orientation (minimum age 10).  Inexperienced Drivers may participate after 90 days of solo operation.   Additional restrictions may apply.

Guaranteed Get Home Certificates – “Get Home” certificates are issued to all our drivers, every quarter for the time you need to be home – GUARANTEED!

Employee Assistance Program - You, your eligible dependents and household members are eligible for confidential, professional help available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for the issues and concerns that affect you and your family, at no cost.

TA Equipment - Our tractors are late model conventional Freightliners equipped with air-ride, voice mail messaging and Qualcomm satellites.   Trailers are primarily 53-feet and consist of 80 percent dry van, 16 percent heated and 4 percent reefer.
